Job Description : As a Facilities Mechanical Engineer in Boise, ID you will work on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. You will work closely with client owners in a fast-paced, dynamic environment to establish design requirements and produce construction documents for the installation of complex manufacturing tools. Responsibilities include
– Assisting in designing piping and ducting for equipment heating, cooling, exhaust, and process chemicals and gasses in some of the most complex, densely packed industrial facilities on the planet.
– The design may include retrofit of existing building systems to accommodate tool installation including engineering calculations, equipment and component sizing, selection, and specification, and support during construction and integration into the factory.
– You’ll have the chance to work on projects including state of the art industrial and commercial facilities.
– You’ll be accountable for schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, as you gain familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget and schedule.
– You’ll also provide on-site assistance during startup, coordinating work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead.
– Your multi-discipline, highly interactive team will successfully deliver on the design, development, application, evaluation, recommendation, and specification of engineered systems and products for building piping, HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection Systems.
Educational Qualification : Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related major from an ABET accredited university
Skills & Knowledge:
– Engineer in Training (EIT) or ability to obtain within 1 year of hire, with drive to work towards PE.
– Working knowledge of AutoCAD & Navisworks software.
– This is a hybrid position with work performed primarily at our client site in Boise, ID and will require you to live within a commutable distance (within 50 miles).
– Physical capability ability to walk long distances, complete site visits/walks at an active construction site.
– Must be authorized to work for any US employer without sponsorship, now or in the future.
