Role & Responsibilities : We are seeking a highly motivated Materials and Processes Engineer to join our dynamic Electronics Solutions unit. You will play a pivotal role in multidisciplinary engineering teams, developing and implementing material selections, manufacturing processes, and qualification procedures for critical mechanical components used in our complex radar and communication systems.
– Translate general system requirements into objective environmental and manufacturing constraints.
– Select and specify materials and finishes for structural applications, considering mechanical, thermal, and electrical properties, with a focus on corrosion resistance in demanding environments.
– Define and map out efficient manufacturing process for mechanical components.
– Develop and execute comprehensive testing and qualification programs to validate the performance and reliability of structural and thermal systems.
– Participate in the integration and testing processes of prototypes, subsystems, and products.
– Assist in the selection and development of manufacturing suppliers in the region.
– Formulate and maintain company’s technical standards and specifications for materials and processes.
Educational Qualification : Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, materials, aerospace, or related engineering disciplines.
Skills & Competencies:
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design, materials, or manufacturing engineering in highly regulated industries.
– Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
– Expertise in surface and coating technology in metallic and composite materials.
– Ability to clearly define technical specifications of materials and manufacturing processes.
– In-depth knowledge in selection and application of ISO, EN and MIL standards and technical specifications of materials and processes.
– Operational proficiency in configuration control, change management, and design data structure.
