Job Description :
– Reviewing the Drawing Office requests, establishing design requirements
– Prepare Error Free General Arrangement and Manufacturing drawings in Solid Edge
– To execute quality self-checks for General Arrangement and Manufacturing drawings
– Process Global Change Notification.
– Maintain and submit monthly performance report to Sr Supervisor.
– To meet and exceed the business expectations in terms of quality, cost and delivery.
– To use Engineering tools and perform basic Engineering calculations as required.
– Conduct Root Cause Analysis and prepare Corrective Actions according to SCAT (Systematic cause analysis technique)
– To deliver accurate and timely drawing design support for Global Engineering and various site technical offices across countries.
– To maintain designated records in-line with IMS requirement
– o promote and ensure “First Time Right” culture throughout the Drawing Office activities.
– Should actively contribute to Continuous Improvements in their day-to-day work
Educational Qualification : Diploma or B.E/ B.tech in Mechanical Engineering
Skills & Competencies:
– Working experience in CAD software.
– Promote a positive work environment and culture in accordance with the ‘Smiths Way.
