Job Description : Weatherford have an exciting opportunity for a college leaver/graduate to join the team as a Trainee Application Engineer. Responsibilities include understand Network Infrastructure in terms of computer connectivity and data flow, Set up and configure network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls & Ensure seamless communication of data from A to B through the network. Facilitate data exchange between computers and specialized equipment using protocols like OPC, Modbus/TCPIP, serial communication, and 4-20mA. Organize and manage network data efficiently utilising SQL MariaDB. Maintain data integrity, security, and accessibility. Managed billing preparation, monthly financial tracking. Diagnose and resolve network issues promptly. Distinguish between physical (ie fibre, cable), network, computer, and software-related problems.
Educational Qualification : HNC/HND in a relevant subject – Diploma / Degree in Electronics or computer programming/computer science.
Skills : Candidate should be able to understand Python and PowerShell scripts, Networking & Computer Programming Knowledge.
